Great fit
These shorts fit my 5 year old perfect! They are thick but not to thick. They have a little more length to them which I love they do not ride up when active. They are not see through! Perfect shorts for under those dresses! Will buy more!

Comfortable for both big and little sister
I originally bought these shorts for our older grandchild and they’ve held up well. Now I’m buying them for her little sister. I like the length for both of them. They protect their legs on slides and on rough surfaces. At the price, I don’t mind if some need replacing purely for aesthetic reasons when concrete, wicker or unfinished wood causes pilling.

Perfect for under dresses
Bought these to throw on my child under dresses. I always like to have some kind of a cover on the diaper and not all dresses come with diaper covers. These work great and provide a bit more coverage than traditional diaper covers which is helpful when we experience the occasional and inevitable diaper leak.

Runs small
Bought them for my 20 month old in 2T, but they were too small (for reference, she was comfortably wearing other Carter’s pants in 24 months). I could get them on her, but they didn’t really cover her butt fully, and they didn’t look comfortable. I wasn’t able to return, since I’d already washed them, so just had to replace them in 3T, which fit just right. That’s the only complaint, though – they’re cute and she can move in them.

Waaay too small
These are so cute! I especially love the little “jean” shorts!! But the sizing is way off. My baby just turned 6 months and she wears a mix of 3-6 and 6-9. I ordered these shorts in 12 month size because I wanted some growing room, but they are almost too small on her now! She’s not even big for her age, she’s just average sized. There’s no way these would fit any 12 month old baby. So, I recommend ordering one size bigger at least, or 2 sizes bigger if you want some breathing room

Be sure to size up
My 12 month old is slightly on the smaller side and she still can fit some clothes sized at 9 months depending on brand. I ordered size 18 months because I wanted the shorts to be on the looser side and for her to be able to wear through this summer. Fits her great. I was expecting it to be loose at first but it fit her just fine from the beginning so definitely be sure to size up. She seems to find these very comfortable and moves very freely and comfortably. Definitely some basics you want to have for everyday and extras for daycare.

Great for baby with small waist
These are the only shorts I’ve been able to find that will stay up on my baby’s petite waist. Baby loves them and is comfortable while wearing them. I like that these shorts actually cover part of the leg so my baby’s diaper and onesies are not constantly visible while being worn. The only downfall to these shorts is that the lighter colors are pretty see through, enough so that you can see any decorative diaper pattern through these.

Great biker shorts for toddler
I like these biker shorts a lot. The seams and fabric has held up well to repeated hard wear and washing. Like most other Carter’s clothing, however, they do run a bit on the small size so consider sizing up if you’re a bit between sizes.

Cute shorts but inconsistent sizes
My daughter loves these shorts! These are great to wear under dresses or with a tshirt. The purple and grey shorts are the perfect size and are soft like pajama pants(in her words). The denim looking ones did run a little on the small side though, so beware of that.

Fine but a little short

I liked these a lot! The only thing is that they do run small and after a wash, they will shrink so get a bigger size. I had to return because too small. My baby is 5m and I got 6-9m but it was too small for her. Wish they had 12m but they’re out of stock. Otherwise I will on the lookout for these when they have size 12m. Very cute.

They really run small
My 3 year old grand is the size of a 2 year old- so on another’s recommendation I bought a size 3, still too small- very tight. Quality is very nice1 which a little thicker to more easily cover the patterns on pull ups, but not a deal breaker. Will order a size 4 next time for this 27# little

Way too small
I bought these shorts in the 12 month size or my 11 month old, who is small for her age (16 lbs). They were snug out of the package, but then I washed them before the first wear (as many parents do) and they got even smaller, to the point they didn’t fit at all. Unfortunately I was not able to return them at that point since they had been washed.Skip these and buy the Amazon Essentials Unisex Babies’ Cotton Pull-On Shorts instead, which are incredibly soft and stretchy with loose leg openings.

Good quality
I love these shorts. I’m so glad I bought 6-9 months, even though I thought I was buying them for future use. They fit my 4month old great, she was 14 1/2 lbs when I bought them. Hopefully they make it through another month at least. Probably going to buy her 12 month soon to get through summer and early fall. But they are great quality and don’t seem too tight in her chunky thighs or belly.

I keep buying these shorts. They’re perfect.
I’ve been buying these shorts for my girl for over 3 years now. my mom gifted us them when my daughter turned 2. From then on, I began buying them for her until now (she is 4 now) and I plan to keep buying them! She just turned four and the size 6 was already fitting her when she was 3. She is a lean kiddo but I like her clothes to fit her somewhat loose. I will be buying size 7 soon just to be ready to transition her into the next size up as i know they probably will fit her already, not super tight but they’ll definitely fit. I love that they do not ride up or down her legs, they are easy for her to change into and out of. Perfect for under dresses and are not too short at all like other girl shorts, and the material is not transparent. Perfect and comfortable little girl shorts!

I had to buy 12 month for my 6-month-old caz the 6-9 month was WAY too tight. My girl is a little chubby lol but the 9 month size should’ve worked…Best to size up. These are great!

I have target brand and children’s place. I’d say target is pretty true to size carters a bit small and children’s place would be my favorite. Have more room. These are really a bit too snug. I bought a 4T and my kiddo will be 3 in 3 months on and on the slim side.
